The eighth edition of the Romanian Students’ Congress, project organized by the Romanian Students Union, will take place between 7th – 10th of May, in the city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This edition is being organized under the theme of the ”Entrepreneurship for the young generation

         Students from all over Europe, interested in entrepreneurship, can register for the congress between 7th and 19th of April at www.congresulstudentilor.ro, where they will have to fill in an online form and an application paper. The selection shall go on between 20th – 26th of April.

         The Romanian Students’ Congress will include two series of workshops, two side events and the traditional Plenary Meeting. Another important activity will be the start-up competition, to which students can participate with their own business plan. The best ten business plans will be awarded by the selecting committee.  According to the resolutions of the last year’s edition, students need quality entrepreneurship events, knowledge and skills for starting their own business. In order to satisfy this demand, this edition will focus on entrepreneurship at its greatest.

         The town where the project will take place is Cluj-Napoca, the 2015 European Youth Capital. Participants will be accommodated at Grand Hotel Napoca, same place where all the other activities will take place.

Romanian Students Union is a national federations, with more then 100 students organisations members in 20 national university centers. The main goal of the Romanian Students Union is to defend and promote students rights in key national players, especially the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Parliament, the Government, the Romanian Presidency, as well as Municipalities and Universities. RSU is represented in the Romanian Economical and Social Council and it is a founding member of the  Romanian Youth Forum.
